It is 100% cotton, and naturally dyed with indigo dye, so we want to give you some insight on the fabric. When you get it, you may experience some transfer of the dye for the first couple of wears, we tested wearing it for over a week straight and only saw the dye transfer to our fingertips. The dye will dissipate and stop transferring as you wear it; however, if you want to speed up that process, you can wash your coat on delicate in the washing machine by itself (please remove the fur) with 1 cup of white vinegar and hang to dry it after (you can iron or steam the fabric after if you want to). Getting out indigo dye is pretty easy due to the nature of the dye, so you can use rubbing alcohol to blot the stain, or soak the item in lukewarm water with a product like oxiclean.
